The role of potassium dihydrogen phosphate

  1. Promote nitrogen and phosphorus absorption
It can promote the absorption of nitrogen and phosphorus by crops, quickly replenish phosphorus, increase crop yield and thousand-grain weight, and can play a special role in the special physiological period of crops.
  2. Promote photosynthesis
Potassium plays a role in enhancing crop photosynthesis during crop growth and accelerating the production and transformation of nutrients.
  3. Improve crop stress resistance
MKP can improve the stress resistance of crops, such as drought resistance, dry and hot wind resistance, waterlogging resistance, frost resistance, damage resistance and healing, and resistance to pathogenic infection, etc.
  4. Improve fruit quality
Spraying during the fruit expansion period can protect and strengthen the fruit, promote fruit expansion, improve fruit quality, increase coloring, and improve taste.
  5. Regulate crop growth
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate has the function of a regulator. It can promote the differentiation of crop flower buds, increase the number of flowers, make the flower buds strong, strengthen the flowers and preserve the fruits, improve the fruit setting, and can also effectively promote the growth and development of the root system.

The correct way to use MKP

  1. Generally, foliar spraying is the main method. The spraying concentration is 0.5% to 1%, spray once every 5 to 7 days, and spray 2 to 3 times in a row.
  2. Spraying method: Focus on spraying on the back of leaves to achieve the best absorption effect.
  3. Spraying time: Spray during the critical period or peak period of crop absorption of phosphorus and potassium for the best effect.
Seedling stage: The concentration is 0.05%~0.1%, and can reach 0.2%~0.3% in the middle and late stages, and is sprayed on foliage.
Growth period: 0.2%~0.3% solution is often sprayed on the leaves to make the branches strong and lush.
Budding stage: Spray 0.3% solution 2 to 3 times to make the flowers larger and more colorful.
  4.  Mixing situation: Potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be mixed with most pesticides and fertilizers. The pH of 0.5%~1% MKP solution is between 4.6~6 and will not cause precipitation.

Precautions

  1. MKP can be mixed with some micro-fertilizers and pesticides reasonably. The appropriate concentration of urea solution is required to be 1% to 2%. And the concentration of boron fertilizer is 0.05% to 0.1%. In addition, MKP can be mixed with phoxim , trichlorfon and pyrethroid pesticides. It can also be mixed with some growth hormones, such as naphthylacetic acid and chlormequat. Can reduce labor costs and increase the effect.
  2. MKP is moderately acidic. Ingredients such as Bordeaux mixture, potassium hydroxide, copper hydroxide, basic copper sulfate, and lime sulfur mixture cannot be mixed with it.
  3. Products containing carbonate (CO3-) and phosphate should not be mixed with potassium dihydrogen phosphate.
