Methods to Synergize Macroelement Water-soluble Fertilizers

Three functional bio-based synergists help partners develop functional formula products and break the dilemma of fierce competition.

1. Highly active Alginate oligosaccharide (AOS)

Promotes rooting, stress resistance, and disease resistance

Wellyou Tech uses algin lyase to enzymatically produce highly active alginate oligosaccharides (molecular weight concentrated between 414-810), which can induce the plant’s own endogenous hormones (auxin, abscisic acid, gibberellin, jasmonic acid, etc.) The synthesis can be increased by 5-8 times, which can significantly promote the growth of crop roots and improve the utilization rate of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

In the early stage of crops, it promotes rapid rooting, lush leaves, stress resistance, and disease prevention. It can be added to high-nitrogen products, high-phosphorus products, rooting liquid fertilizers, medium-element products and other fertilizers.

Combining the characteristics and efficacy of highly active fucoidan oligosaccharide, the recommended dosage is 1 kg of powder or 5kg of 30% liquid fucoidan oligosaccharide per ton.

2. 5-Aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA)

Color change and sweetening

5-ALA is the biosynthetic precursor of tetrapyrrole compounds such as heme and chlorophyll. It captures light and fixes CO2, which can promote the synthesis of soluble sugars and carbohydrates in plants. It not only increases sweetness and color, but also increases production and quality.

In the later stages of crops, it promotes the synthesis of carbohydrates and proteins, changes color and sweetness, and extends the storage period of crops. It can add to high-potassium water-soluble fertilizers, trace element foliar fertilizers, functional organic water-soluble fertilizers and other fertilizers.

Combining the characteristics and efficacy of 5-ALA, recommend to add 3-5kg of 5-ALA powder per ton for high-potassium water-soluble fertilizers. 100-200kg and 40 grams per liter of liquid 5-ALA per ton for foliar fertilizers.

3. γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA)

Protect, stabilize and increase production

Wellyou Tech uses the whole cell conversion method to produce γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), with a liquid content of 450g/L and a powder content of 98%. Its activity is 40% higher than other processes and it is resistant to strong acids and alkalis. GABA is currently the only clear ion transport regulator that regulates the absorption of key elements by crops. Thereby it achieve the effects of ensuring, stabilizing, and increasing yields.

When crops are growing vigorously and in the later stages of growth, we can promote the rapid absorption of nutrients by crops, promote the transformation and utilization of nutrients, and develop products that increase yield by 10%-30%: balanced type, high nitrogen type, high phosphorus type, and high potassium type.

Combined with the characteristics and efficacy of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), recommend to add 3-8kg of 98% powdered GABA per ton.

According to crops and markets, the development of functional fertilizers and special fertilizers required by crops in different periods is the general trend.
