γ-aminobutyric acid (γ-aminobutyric acid, GABA) is a non-protein amino acid that naturally exists in various biological cells and body fluids. It is neither a pesticide nor a plant growth regulator, nor a traditional fertilizer. It is A green, safe and efficient fertilizer synergist and biostimulant.
In plants, GABA has the following functions:
- Promote plant growth
- Promote nitrogen transport and nutrient uptake
- Enhance crop drought resistance
- Enhance high/low temperature resistance
- Improve tolerance to heavy metals
- Improve acid resistance, salt and alkali resistance
GABA is added to the fertilizer to promote the growth of crops, especially roots. It is also of great benefit to the coloring and sweetening of the fruit in the later stage of growth. Coloring and sweetening is a systematic project in plants. GABA induces the synthesis of ethylene, promotes the absorption and utilization of trace elements such as boron, magnesium, potassium and molybdenum, and promotes the accumulation of fruit anthocyanins and aromatic substances, which is helpful for crops to mature early.
Adding 2‰GABA to compound fertilizer to promote fruit, grain and root growth test, adding 2-4‰GABA to compound fertilizer can significantly increase the fresh weight of aboveground parts of melons and fruits, which is 25% higher than compound fertilizer alone. Significantly promote the growth of the root system, and the fresh weight of the root system increased by 16% compared with compound fertilizer alone.
GABA can significantly promote the root growth of melons and fruits, greatly increase the absorption and utilization rate of melons and fruits to compound fertilizers, increase their biomass accumulation, and the synergistic effect is obvious. The results showed that 2-4‰GABA was the best addition amount to improve the fertilizer efficiency of compound fertilizer.
Wellyou Tech GABA adopts the whole cell transformation technology, an exclusive patented technology. And the product activity is more than 40% higher than other processes.
