5-Aminolevulinic Acid (5-ALA) is a naturally occurring amino acid that plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of porphyrins, which are essential for the production of heme, a vital component of hemoglobin in blood. It is widely recognized for its applications in various fields, particularly in agriculture and medicine.
In agriculture, 5-ALA is valued for its ability to enhance plant growth and improve crop yields. It promotes photosynthesis by increasing chlorophyll synthesis, leading to better light absorption and energy conversion. This results in:
- Accelerated Plant Growth: 5-ALA stimulates the growth of crops by enhancing metabolic processes.
- Improved Crop Quality: It helps balance plant hormones, which can lead to healthier plants with better quality produce.
- Stress Resistance: 5-ALA can help plants cope with environmental stressors, such as drought or extreme temperatures.

- Foliar Spray: 25-40 kg per ton.
Recommended dilution ratio after combining: 400-600 times.
Precautions of 5-Aminolevulinic Acid Liquid
- For best results, spray between 8-9 AM or 4 PM (5 PM in summer). Avoid spraying during high noon temperatures; maintain intervals of at least 7-10 days between applications.
- This product should not be mixed with alkaline pesticides or fungicides. Diluting in solutions with pH ≥ 8 will reduce effectiveness.
- Store in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, rain, and heavy pressure. The shelf life is 2 years. Use promptly after opening.
- This product is not for consumption. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If contact occurs, wash with water and seek medical attention if necessary.
Notes on Combined Use
- Keep the temperature around room temperature (approximately 20°C) for optimal performance; prolonged exposure above 30°C may lead to deterioration and affect efficacy.
- Due to the product’s excellent light sensitivity, avoid strong light exposure during mixing and store in a dark place.
- Since the product is acidic, avoid mixing with alkaline substances. For best results, the pH of the combined, undiluted product should be ≤5.5.
